Christmas time in Seattle...and four-legged friends

How fun is to get holiday cards in the mail and see all the pictures of your friends, family and all the kiddos?! It's even more fun to get a card and know that you took the family picture. Tee hee! I loving my photography business!

To enjoy some of the Seattle holidays, I got to spend some time with such an outgoing, energetic and talented photographer (http://www.mcconnellphoto.com/) and I helped her out during her photo shoot with a couple in downtown Seattle. We got to walk around all the holiday lights, ride the carousel horses and even take a horse drawn carriage ride. Other photos were shot in the Fairmont Hotel. I would love to do a photoshoot like this, so if you are interested, let me know. Here are a few pics that Laurel sent me:

Thanks Laurel for letting me join you on this ever-so-fun session! I look forward to working with you again in the near future.

As this month winds down and my special is still being offered. A friend of mine decided that she wanted some pictures of her children... four-legged ones that is. This is going to be an Xmas present to her husband. I love her 'children's' names: Sue (the male, reddish mix) and Cash (the female, black chow mix). Here are couple from our session:

Rose, the proud mommy of her four-legged kiddos. =) Hope your husband loves your Xmas present.

If you have any four-legged kids you would like pictures of...let me know.

Happy Holidays!

Rejuvenation for one Hot, Sassy Momma!

What an inspiration...Paula called me up wanting to get a photo session to celebrate a huge milestone...She has LOST 80 LBS!!! Check her out...WOW! I was so impressed with her strength, courage, and her attititude. Paula is a true success story from the ProClub's 20/20 program and her trainer even said she was her 'biggest loser'. Not only does Paula look great now, she's healthy, happy and even starting to date again. Need I say, she's sassy too! Here are some pictures from her photo session. Myself and another photographer (www.sarahrhoadsphoto.com) teamed up to take the pictures. Paula was so willing to step outside of her traditional studio session and go downtown to take some pictures. They turned out great! Thanks Sarah for joining me...I know we all had a great time.

Paula looks so beautiful ...she was so fun to photograph.
Paula has the best smile. She said her son was her best friend and made her smile the most. How awesome is that?!

Paula's favorite car is a mustang, so we found this vintage baby blue mustang to pose with.

So young and so fresh...I love this pic.
Look at this sassy pose. Check her out in her size 6 jeans!
Sarah getting some closeup shots of Paula's gorgeous green eyes. Check out Sarah's site, she's awesome. Thanks gals, I had a wonderful time and hope you did too. Paula, congrats again and best wishes for a hot date soon! ;) LOL

Loving family

Saturday was a busy day for me...I had TWO photo sessions. Business is picking up and I love it! The afternoon was spent with the most adorable and loving family, the Erlandsons. Despite not being able to get any outdoor shots (the skies opened up and dumped some white fluffy stuff!), everyone had a fun time gathering in mom and dad's room, bouncing on beds, snuggling up in chairs and giggling at the silly situations I put them in. The photos are proof that they had a great time and that this is a wonderful couple, with 3 outgoing and fun kids.

Stella stole the show with her precious smile and eagerness to be in front of the camera.

She had such fun bouncing on her bed...with her bunny ears. Umm, it Christmas time....
Elizabeth is such a sweet gal and is going to steal some hearts soon.
Happy Birthday to the new 'adult' in the home. Thank you Thomas for humoring us on your 18th birthday to take some family photos. Kudos to you!
Charlie the dog was infatuated with his toy telephone. Tru Wuv!
Wait, no, this is true love. Tom and Joanne were just too cute!

Here's everyone having a 'howling' good time.

A snuggled up bunch ...Happy Holidays!

Thanks Joanne for having me come photograph your loving family. I had a wonderful time and hope to be able to capture some more cherished moments throughout your lives.

cheers.
